In many cases, your email address only indicates what server you might have used to access your email for web based email. It might not include your actual IP address that you used to access it. Normally with an IP address, you can find out the approximate general area where a person lives. You have to use other searches to get more information. You can also pay one of several companies to dig up any public information that might be available on the internet that matches things that they might know about you.

Google your name, address, phone number(s) and other personal info. You might be surprised what is available if you only look.

You&#039;ll probably quickly find why I don&#039;t even have a facebook page and a number of other social media accounts.
