Well in my opinion no one needs to put themselves on a web page to advertise. After awhile these on line sites or dating sites get addictive and you end up on line 24/7 looking for the "right one." This is when desperation sets in. Like the Eharmony.com mess. The commercial have couples saying they've met on-line and the next step is marriage. I do know that God says that when choosing a mate you must be wise. How do you know what's on the other side of the computer screen? You can easily be deceived. It is now ok to date from the internet now. No one cares now because of desperation and everyone wants to find the "right one." I tell this much you will not find love on the internet. God says if you desire a mate come to him in prayer and ask him for one. Don't rely on other resources such as the internet or dating services that are mentioned on tv to look for love. The true definition of love is Gods love.

Even though it's internet dating, a woman wants to be the center of attention if she's on a date with a guy. Although internet dating isn't technically a date, it is her chance to get to know you, and she isn't going to like competition. She will want to "date" you and see where it goes, not compete with others like it's an auction and you are the prize to the highest bidder, or the best offer.

Try starting your letter out honestly by letting her know that your responding to others as well as her. That way she knows from the get go that you would like more info.

My brother who is single is looking for a woman on the internet as well, but I think he's doing it the right way. One thing I commend him on is that he's looking for ladies around his same age, and not going for someone twenty years younger than him. Also, he seems to choose a few of them, and then concentrates on getting to know them better via several e-mails before he meets them. That way he's not writing to 100 different woman at the same time. Just a suggestion.
